COVID-19 ENHANCED SAFETY STEPS

As we face this unprecedented health crisis, we continue to make the health and safety of our customers and employees a top priority.

We have enhanced our safety practices and are committed to playing our part to help stop the
spread of the COVID-19 virus.

 

UPDATED STEPS TO GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED:

  1. No face to face contact without a mask:
    We practice social distancing when interacting with each other and with customers.
  2. We pick up and drop off your car:
    1. Staff are required to use gloves anytime they come into contact with exposed surfaces on or in our customers’ vehicles.
      2. We will disinfect all surfaces and key fobs on and in customer vehicles prior to returning them to our customers.
  3. Rental car drop off and pick up:
    1. A rental car will be dropped off to replace your car while it’s being repaired. (No cost to those who qualify)
    2. All surfaces will be disinfected after dropping it off.
  4. Insurance Claims:
    1. We will work with you to cover your deductible – typically with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
    2. We will contact your insurance on your behalf if you haven’t already made a claim.
    3. All documents will be handled through email or by phone.

UPDATED SAFETY PRACTICES FROM EX-HAIL AUTO REPAIR:

  • Requiring extreme social distancing for those employees who have to come to work.
  • Requiring staff to use gloves anytime they come into contact with exposed surfaces on or in our customers’ vehicles.
  • Screening employees and visitors for symptoms and ensuring that sick employees or those that may have been exposed to COViD-19 stay at home.
  • We stagger employees’ schedules during the vehicle repair phase.
  • Providing frequent education to all staff on the latest recommendations by CDCWHO, and CDP.
  • Our rental car partners have also implemented additional measures to mitigate the impact of the virus, including consolidating operations and taking additional steps to disinfect vehicles.

Our safety practices follow the recommendations issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO)the Texas Department of State Health Services, as well as local and state authorities.
